Tangerine Confectionery Appoints CEVA Logistics

Tangerine Confectionery, the UK’s largest independent sugar confectioner, has appointed CEVA Newsfast as its supply chain partner. Under the new smart solution CEVA will collect product from Tangerine’s production plants in the North West of England and Yorkshire and transport it to Tangerine’s distribution centre in Chesterfield for onward distribution to supermarket RDCs (regional distribution centres), wholesalers and retailers via CEVA’s shared-user network. The contract, which employs 82 people, also involves management of a stockholding store for two large retailers in Leeds.
